Another way to get to Warsaw is by driving your own car. The Russian and Polish capitals are separated by a distance of 1265 km, which can be covered in just 15 hours.
Useful information for car enthusiasts:
- One liter of fuel in Poland costs 1.08 euros. The cheapest gasoline is usually offered by filling stations located near large shopping centers. At gas stations on the autobahns, it is usually 15% -20% more expensive.
- Toll road sections are equipped at the entrance with devices that issue tickets. Depending on the mileage and the type of vehicle at the end of such a section, the amount of the fare is determined.
- Violation of traffic rules in Poland entails serious monetary fines. For example, for neglecting seat belts you will be punished for $ 25, for talking on the phone while driving - for $ 50, and for transporting children without special devices - for $ 40.
