To Krabi from Bangkok

Some tourists prefer to take a flight to the city of Surat Thani, and then travel to Krabi using ground transportation.

To Krabi from Phuket

The distance between these points is 160 kilometers, which can be covered by bus, boat, ferry and taxi. Self-employed tourists prefer buses from local carriers. From the airport to Phuket bus station, you can easily get there by public transport in approximately 2 hours. At the bus station, you will be offered to purchase a ticket for buses, minibuses and minibuses of various levels of comfort. The trip will take you no more than 2.5 hours, as a result of which you will find yourself at the Krabi bus station. The cost of such tickets varies from 150 to 170 baht, which is quite consistent with the budget travel option.

Ferry and speedboat are common means of transportation between Phuket and Krabi. Tickets are sold at numerous travel companies located in different areas of Phuket. Most ferries leave from Rassada pier several times during the day and after three hours arrive to the islands of Phi Phi, Langkawi, Ao Nang, etc. The advantage of this type of travel is that you will have the opportunity to simultaneously explore the neighboring picturesque islands.

Traveling by car will be acceptable if you are willing to pay a large sum. For example, renting a middle-class car will cost 5-7 thousand rubles, and for a minivan for 7-15 people you will pay from 8 to 23 thousand rubles.
