The question of how to get from Prague to Paris is readily answered by the air carriers of the two countries, bus companies, and European railways. To Paris from Prague by train
The railway, which is so convenient in other directions, in this case cannot be called the most suitable option. The second option is the train Prague - Mannheim with a change in this German city to the French capital. The train arrives at the Gare de l'Est in Paris. In both cases, the journey will take at least 16 hours.
In Prague, the trip starts from the main railway station of the Czech capital, located at Wilsonova 8. You can get to the station on the red line of the Prague metro. The desired stop is Hlavní Nádraží. How to get from Prague to Paris by bus
Bus service is the cheapest option for getting around Europe. True, in the case of Prague - Paris, it takes a lot of time, and therefore is not very suitable for those tourists who value every hour.
The popular company Eurolines and its main competitor Regio Jet offer passengers to use direct bus routes from the Czech to the French capital. The cost of tickets is about 80 euros one way, and tourists will have to spend at least 14 hours on the road.
Despite the considerable duration, the trip is quite comfortable, thanks to the care of the carriers for the passengers:
European buses are air conditioned. The salons are equipped with TV systems, sockets for recharging electronic equipment and dry closets. The trip starts at the Central Prague bus station ÚAN Florenc Praha. The object is located at the address: Křižíkova 6. The bus station accepts passengers from 4 a.m. to midnight. It is very easy to get there by metro - lines B or C and the Florenc station at their intersection are suitable. Passengers, while waiting for their flight, can spend time usefully. At their service there are currency exchange offices, cafes, free wireless Internet, shower and 24-hour luggage storage.
Choosing wings
Plane is the most optimal way to get from Prague to Paris, especially since European low-cost airlines often offer very pleasant ticket prices.
For example, a direct flight on board Transavia France will cost only 60-70 euros in both directions. Czech Airlines CSA Czech Airlines also carry passengers at a low cost. The cost of a ticket for their regular flight is about the same. The French carrier Air France will ask for a little more for its services - from 70 to 80 euros.
Vaclav Havel Prague Airport is located just 17 km from the Czech capital. The easiest way to get there from the city is by metro and bus. In the subway, you will need line A, at the terminal station Nádraží Veleslavín you will have to change to a bus on any of the routes NN 119 and 100. The journey, taking into account the transfer, will take about 30 minutes. Buses leave every 5 minutes during rush hour and every quarter of an hour in the early morning and evening. Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris is located 23 km from the city center. RER commuter trains are available to reach the main Parisian attractions. The airport has stops on line B, connecting passenger terminals 1, 2 and 3 with the stations Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel, Luxembourg in the city center. The price of the trip is about 10 euros, the train interval is from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the time of day. Electric trains serve passengers from 5 am to midnight.
Buses connecting Paris to the airport are more convenient for those with a large amount of luggage. Air France offers its own buses to Charles de Gaulle Metro Station, Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse Train Station and Orly Airport. The price of the issue is from 17 euros, depending on the destination. RoissyBus buses for 11 euros and 1 hour 15 minutes deliver everyone to the Opera area, and the EasyBus carrier offers passengers to get to the Royal Palace for just 7 euros and 1 hour.
The car is not a luxury
If you have chosen a car for traveling, do not forget that a liter of gasoline in the Czech Republic and France will cost you 1.12 and 1.40 euros, respectively, and impeccable observance of traffic rules will avoid troubles and serious financial losses. Parking in most European cities is paid on weekdays and you should count on at least 1.5-2 euros per hour.
