Luxembourg is one of the European countries known for its small size. Luxembourg is located very well - between Belgium, France and Germany. The climate here is very favorable, and the proximity of other European countries with their attractions, shops and other advantages makes Luxembourg an extremely convenient choice for holidays in Europe. One of the best solutions is camping in Luxembourg. They are an inexpensive but convenient way to relax in this small country and visit whatever interests you.

Camping Le Chalet

There are a lot of campsites in Luxembourg, and most of them are quite large in size. Finding a small but cozy campsite here is much more difficult than finding a large full-service area. One of the most popular campgrounds in the country is Le Chalet, or, as it is also called, Buchholz. In addition to Luxembourgish, German and French are spoken in the country, so the names can be quite different. This campsite does not provide for a year-round stay - it is open from early March to the end of October, and is closed during the winter.

Like any other European camping site, it is a clean and comfortable tourist area with all amenities - showers, toilets, drinking water. The cost of living here is 5 euros per person per night, for children - three euros. Plus two euros for renting a tent. Electricity is available at an additional cost. Hot showers, clean toilets and drinking water from the tap are provided free of charge. There are several shops and supermarkets near the campsite where you can buy groceries.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are cycling trails near the campsite. The choice of routes is very wide - from simple and short tracks for beginners to long and difficult tracks. There are also mountain trails with steep slopes, on which you should be careful. All routes are marked.

There are many historical and natural attractions in the vicinity of the camping. The most beautiful natural sites and all historical sites are located within ten to twenty kilometers from the camping. The most convenient way to reach them is by car, but you can use a bus or even a bicycle. While staying at the campsite, you can visit the Berdorf nature reserve, the ancient castles of Larochette and Beaufort. The reserve is one of the most beautiful places in Luxembourg, with moss-covered rocks, natural grottoes and beautiful views. The Schiessentümpel waterfall is also nearby.

Camping Camping Neumuhle

Camping Neumuhle is located in the center of the country, near the town of Emsdorf. This is a four-star campsite that offers its visitors comfort and beautiful nature around the camp. At the bottom of the campsite there is a stream and a small waterfall. The location of the camping allows you to easily go on an excursion to the Diekirch War Museum, the Eifelpark children's park, various ancient castles and natural attractions.

The campsite has a cafe, hot showers, washing machines, dryers and a special place for caring for small children. You can also order wireless internet at registration.

In general, campgrounds in Luxembourg offer a fairly high-quality service with a wide range of prices for different budget levels.
