- Thousands of compatriots have already checked in Langkawi. The largest in the archipelago of the same name, this island is famous for its healing white sand. Magnesium included in its composition is useful in the treatment of many diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
- Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the state of Sabah, is easily accessible by air from Kuala Lumpur. The local beaches are for active tourists. The rainy seasons in Malaysia are:
- From mid-autumn to late February in the east of Malacca, on the west coast of Sarvak and in the north-east of Sabah.
- From April to the end of spring and from October to the first half of December, showers fall with enviable regularity on the western coast of the country on the islands of Langkawi, Pankor and Penang. But it is not worth canceling the trip due to precipitation in these regions of the country. They are spilled for a short time and usually in the evening, and therefore practically do not affect the quality of a beach holiday.
It is best to book tours for a beach holiday in Malaysia for the first half of winter, if the holiday destination is the west of the country, and for the summer months and September, if the trip is to the eastern regions.

Hotels on the island of Langkawi are waiting for their guests, offering quite decent comfort and oriental hospitality of staff, even in budget "treshki". Popular beaches of the island are Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah on the southwest coast. In the tourists' photos, they look snow-white and perfectly clean, and you can settle closer to the sea in cottages and bungalows on the shore.
Finding solitude in Langkawi is difficult, but possible. For romantics and lovers, experienced travelers recommend a vacation on the Coc Beach in the west of the island. And for lovers of exoticism, the idea of spending a vacation on the black beach of Pasir Hitam will seem pretty. Its sand is of volcanic origin.
Divers rush to a beach holiday in Malaysia in Langkawi in spring and early autumn. At the same time, fishermen were especially lucky on the islands of the archipelago: the coastal waters are literally teeming with barracudas, lobsters and garudas.
Monkey island
Many options for active and varied beach holidays in Malaysia are offered by tour operators on the island of Borneo. Rafting on mountain rivers and motor safaris, diving in magnificent coral forests and trekking in the jungle await those who are used to using every minute of their vacation exciting and meaningful.
Particularly interesting is the three-day excursion to the jungle of Borneo, where you can meet wild animals, and then get acquainted with orangutans - rare representatives of primates in the nursery.

For those interested in where it is better to relax, if you are under thirty and your soul craves for fun, experienced tourists will also recommend Penang. You can also rent jet skis or scuba diving equipment, learn how to stay in the saddle and take an exciting horseback ride through the picturesque surroundings, or taste the masterpieces of local cuisine at inexpensive coastal restaurants.
Almost two dozen local hotels have five stars on the facade, and therefore the Penang resort cannot be called cheap. But for those who are used to being content with little, there is a place here: budget "kopeck pieces" and "treshki" are also found in the district.
