They don't advertise, and they don't need it, they always have a full load. The food is great, but better to book your table in advance and get ready for the high prices!
Cau, Blackheath, St. Catherine's Dock, Wimbledon
If you love steaks, head to Cau, a sister brand of the popular Gaucho chain. Excellent Argentinean cuisine at affordable prices awaits you. Now Cau is still a relatively young restaurant, but in a couple of years it will be at its peak. There are now 13 restaurants in the UK and another in Amsterdam.
Cinnamon Club, Westminster
Brick Lane is traditionally the capital of curry in London, while Westminster is home to the wonderful Indian restaurant Cinnamon Club. Chef Vivek Sinh is in charge of the chic Indian curry house, housed in the old Westminster Library. The design is very modern and the menu is famous for its game dishes.
Jason Atherton Social Eating House, Soho
All of Jason Atherton's restaurants are great. But this one is truly something special. The food is excellent. On the second floor there is a small bar called The Blind Pig, which serves delicious cocktails.
Amaya, Mayfair
Another Michelin-starred restaurant that we love, it serves Indian tapas and grills made in three traditional Indian ways: in a clay oven, charcoal and hot. This is the third restaurant of the team that gave us Chutney Mary in Chelsea and Veeraswamy in the West End.
Pitt Cue, Soho
Barbecue aficionados will know that this restaurant started out as a small truck until it became a trendy spot in downtown Soho. Get ready to queue - this tiny restaurant for 30 people does not reserve tables. Pitt Cue serves delicious pork and is highly recommended to try.
The Ivy, West End
If your dream is to meet a celebrity, visit The Ivy. The restaurant is famous for its celebrity guests and is designed in an Art Deco style. Generous portions, British style and reasonable prices await you.
Nobu, Metropolitan Hotel on Park Lane
Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa is famous for "new" Japanese cuisine, which earned the restaurant a Michelin star. Contrary to expectations, the menu includes not only raw fish. The restaurant itself has a sushi bar, and the main menu is a wide selection of hot dishes, from noodles to lobster pasta. In addition to the sumptuous menu, the windows offer views of Hyde Park.
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Heston Blumenthal is one of the UK's most renowned chefs and Dinner is his first London restaurant. The menu contains unusual dishes such as egg and bacon ice cream and reflects centuries of British history.
If you find yourself in this restaurant, which, by the way, is marked with two Michelin stars, pay attention to the "meat fruit" - it looks like a tangerine, but in fact it turns out to be a chicken liver parfait.
Duck and Waffle, Heron Tower, East London
A glass elevator will take dinner lovers up to the 40th floor of the Heron Tower skyscraper. Chef Daniel Doherty is in charge of the kitchen, who came up with a dish called Spicy Ox Cheek Donut. Guess the name of the restaurant's signature dish … that's right, Duck and Waffle.
