Germany welcomes guests with well-groomed cities, excellent service in hotels, excellent conditions for sightseeing, beach holidays (at the services of tourists - the Baltic coast and lakes of Bavaria) and ski ("snow" resorts are famous for well-groomed trails) recreation. As for tourists who want to see most of the natural wonders of this country, they should be advised to visit the waterfalls of Germany.

Triberg

The waterfall is formed by the Gutakh River: its streams fall along 7 steps from a 163-meter mountain range, and at the foot there is a swimming pool. It is worth noting that in the evening, until 22:00, Triberg is illuminated, which allows you to admire these water cascades from a different angle (there are several viewing platforms). Active tourists will love that there is a rope park nearby, where they can have a great time. Several events are associated with the Triberg waterfall: for example, on Christmas and New Year's holidays, the Fire and Light Show is held here, and at the end of July - fireworks.

It is quite easy to get to the waterfall - there are three well-marked routes leading to it (it is advisable to visit it in April-October; in winter, access to the waterfall is closed, since the ascent to it can be dangerous for travelers).

Open to the public from 10 am to 8 pm (ticket price - 7 euros, for children under 7 years old - free). From Triberg you can get here with a guided tour, as well as on foot or by car to the upper or lower entrance (free parking is available).

Lichtenhain waterfall

The location of the waterfall is the valley of the Kirnich River, and several tourist paths originate from it - the “Trail of Artists” (painters disappeared here all day, because the trail runs along the edge of the cliff and allows you to admire the beautiful landscapes); the trail to Kushtal (this is a 10-meter rocky gate, 16 meters wide and 25 meters deep; there is a restaurant and the ruins of a medieval fortress nearby) and others.

Lichtenhain Falls is a popular attraction - it is “opened” (for this purpose, the old dam, repaired at the end of the 20th century, is unlocked) every half hour, so that tourists can admire the “birth” of the waterfall to the sound of music.

Todtnau waterfall

It is a 97-meter cascade waterfall, along which routes of varying difficulty are laid for tourists (they will walk along forest paths) and bridges are built. In addition, those who wish to admire the water flow will be able to sit on a special lounger installed at the very bottom. It is worth noting that 500 meters from the waterfall you can find and look into a souvenir shop or restaurant (there is a parking nearby).
