The waterfalls of the Crimea are miraculous and unique treasures of the peninsula: those who go to them (there is a beautiful waterfall in almost every canyon and gorge) will be able to admire these natural beauties.

Walking routes in Crimea

Uchan-Su waterfall

Uchan-Su (its height is more than 98 m) looks spectacular when it rains and snow melts, in the summer months it practically dries up, and in the winter months it sometimes freezes. During the "fall" of the waterfall, several cascades are formed: on one of them you can see the structure where the water intake is carried out, and on the roof there is a sculpture of an eagle.

The road to Uchan-Su will arouse the interest of travelers, because it is "decorated" with majestic oaks and beeches, and right there you can go to the observation deck, from where it is worth taking photographs as a souvenir.

Silver jets

This waterfall (height - 6 m) is famous for its natural grotto and is surrounded by a forest that is home to hazel, hornbeam, mountain ash, beech and dogwood. The uniqueness of the Silver Streams was the presence of a moss-covered tuff “canopy” (unfortunately, it collapsed in January 2016).

Jur-Jur waterfall

Several paths lead to Dzhur-Djuru, 15 m high, and right next to it there are railings, a bridge and an observation deck. Travelers should climb along the river about 1 km from the waterfall - they will be lucky enough to admire the rapids-cascades (the height of the last 2 of them is 28 and 60 m), and nearby to discover the cave of the same name (its length is 750 m), surrounded by forest.

Su-Uchkhan

The water of the waterfall, 30 m high, “falls” in cascades - a tuff area is formed in its lower part due to waters with dissolved lime (they “come” from the Dolgorukovsky massif). It will be possible to get to it by walking or driving an electric car along the “Kizil-Koba Fairy Valley” (the entrance ticket costs 150 rubles).

Jurla waterfall

It consists of several cascades, 1 of which reaches a height of 6 m - it is best to admire them in spring, when the river Soter is filled with melted snow (you will be able to enjoy the panorama of the river valley and the eagles circling above it from the cliffs). In addition, near the waterfall, you can find a spring and parking for tourists.

Cheremisovskie waterfalls

An excursion to the Cheremisovsky waterfalls will be accompanied by a tour of the waterfalls of Love, the Font of Youth, Gorge, and Mother's Tears.
