  • The city of Pilsen, where one of the famous brands of Czech beer comes from. It is separated from the capital by 85 km and just over an hour's journey by car or public transport. The main attractions of the White Castle are more than 300 thousand museum exhibits, including not only paintings and tapestries, but also hunting trophies of its owner, Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

To the waters in any weather

Karlovy Vary is another destination that you can easily travel to from Prague on your own. The journey by bus from the train station to the Florenc metro station takes about two hours, and by train from the Main railway it takes just over three hours. The ticket will cost 150 and 270 kroons, respectively.

The sights of the famous thermal resort are not worth presenting. Springs with healing mineral waters, picturesque restaurants and hotels, spa centers, where you can improve your health and get a surge of vigor in just a couple of days, are always popular with travelers from all over Europe.

Bones and UNESCO Lists

The town of Kutná Hora is located an hour's drive from Prague. Its main attractions are the Cathedral of St. Barbara, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the Ossuary, the interior of which is made of very unusual materials.

Buses to Kutnu Hora run from the Háje metro station on line C. The journey will take about 1.5 hours, and you will have to pay a little over 60 CZK for a ticket. (All prices are approximate and given as of October 2015)
