The attention of tourists deserves the sports complex "Arman-2030" (it has a swimming pool, a steam room, a relaxation room, a gym; there are cosmetology, dental and massage services) and a health complex "Luxor City" (pleases visitors with a children's pool and a swimming pool for adults, Finnish and Turkish saunas, a gym, and here you can also learn to swim, do water aerobics, play volleyball).
Lovers of recreation by the water will also find something to do in Karaganda. But despite the fact that there are many reservoirs in the city, not all of them are suitable for swimming (there are no sanitary posts and rescue stations). So, for example, tourists are advised to head to the Fedorovskoe reservoir (there is a free beach and a paid recreation area, the entrance to which costs 600-800 tenge - the paid area is cleaner and more comfortable: there are toilets, gazebos, trash cans, barbecues (charcoal for a barbecue will cost 700 tenge / 3 kg), and there is also a yacht club and a water-rescue station, and if you wish, you can rent a water scooter), a pond in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure (rent of catamarans and boats is available, the cost of which ranges from 500 to 2000 tenge / hour), lakes in the "Blue Ponds" microdistrict.
If you have time, you should definitely go to Lake Balkhash (its eastern part is salty, and the western one is fresh) - there you will be able not only to swim and sunbathe, but also to do sport fishing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing.
