Another common snack in Monaco is fried flatbreads (they are eaten both as an independent dish and as a bite with the main course), for example, “fougas” (flatbread with olives, onions and bacon) or “panini” (pre-fried bread with ham).

Popular dishes of Monaco cuisine:

  • "Pisaladier" (a pie with the addition of anchovies, onions and olives);
  • Anchowad (mashed anchovies with olive oil and capers);
  • “Supion” (a dish made from deep-fried cuttlefish or squid);
