Tours to the Czech Republic are equally dreamed of by both the strong and the beautiful half of humanity. In this country, everyone finds their own flavor, and a rich excursion program is far from the only opportunity to bring a lot of interesting impressions from Prague or Plzen. No less delight is a visit to restaurants in the Czech Republic, because even vegetarians and convinced teetotalers know about the famous beer and fried sausages. In every metropolitan and provincial institution, guests will be offered at least a dozen varieties of foamy drink, made according to old recipes, carefully observed for centuries.
By an understandable ranking
In the Czech Republic, you can literally eat at every corner, but all establishments are divided into three main categories, getting into which depends on the pricing policy, and on the menu, and even on the setting:
- The most expensive and pretentious are restaurants. The sign of such establishments bears the inscription Restaurant, the prices command respect, but the class of service is also very high. A hot meat dish costs about the same as a ticket to the theater stalls, and our own beers are of excellent quality and variety.
- About half the price of dishes on the menu of cafes, called restaurants in the country - Restaurace. A more relaxed atmosphere reigns here, the waiters serve several tables at the same time, but you should not be afraid of waiting for an order for a long time, because restaurants in the Czech Republic, regardless of their status, can boast worthy service.
- The most budgetary establishments are pubs or Pivnice. The specialty of these restaurants in the Czech Republic is excellent cuisine and generous portions at reasonable prices. It is somewhat noisy here in the evenings, when large companies gather in the halls.
From the cave to the ancient castle
Choosing a place for lunch or dinner in the Czech Republic, travelers note the richness and variety of restaurant interiors. Cozy cellars and medieval castle halls, outdoor eateries on summer verandas and old houses with an entourage of past centuries - restaurants in the Czech Republic are somewhat like museums, and therefore a meal is always accompanied by a pleasant contemplation of the interiors.
Beer restaurant "Chodovar" in a granite rock near Karlovy Vary is famous not only for honey ribs and reindeer with cranberry gravy, but also for one of the oldest breweries in the country. The intoxicating drink has been made here eight centuries ago, and lunch at the institution can be preceded by a tour of the brewery.
Eight halls and the summer garden of the "U Fleku" beer garden are ready to receive several hundred sufferers at the same time. The pub was opened back in the 15th century, and this restaurant in the Czech Republic is of great interest not only among gourmets, but also among fans of old interiors and medieval architecture.
