The northern capital of Russia is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. Every traveler strives to get here, and tours to St. Petersburg are always popular as an option for spending holidays, weekends or vacations.
The city was founded at the beginning of the 18th century by Tsar Peter I. In May 1703, the builders laid the Peter and Paul Fortress at the mouth of the Neva River, which, with the help of artillery pieces, was called upon to protect the fairways of the Bolshaya Neva and Neva from the enemy.
