The Czech Republic is an amazing place, it is a country that is ready to receive tourists at any time of the year. The notion of "off season" clearly does not apply to this country. Museums, parks, cozy medieval streets, castles and, of course, the famous Czech beer - all this attracts tourists to the Czech Republic. Before a trip to the Czech Republic, a tourist has a rather difficult choice, which city to go to? It is difficult to choose a few of the most beautiful cities, they are all so amazing and unique.
Prague
You need to start your review of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic from its capital - Prague. Prague is a real gateway to the Middle Ages. One gets the feeling that during its thousand-year history Prague has been constantly expanding: new squares appeared around the old castles, and more and more streets grew to the squares. Many tourists come here in order to fully immerse themselves in medieval times, and I must say that this city perfectly fulfills this goal. Among the sights of the city, it is worth highlighting the Prague Castle, the Old Jewish Cemetery, the Dancing House, etc.
Brno
Brno is the second largest and most populous city in the Czech Republic. It is beautiful at any time of the year and attracts a large number of tourists due to its interesting history, many architectural monuments and unique traditions. One cannot fail to note the Rudut Theater, in which 11-year-old Mozart performed, the Augustinian Monastery and the Spielbek Fortress are some of the most interesting sights of the city.
Czech krumlov
Another unique city in the Czech Republic. Despite its remoteness from the capital of the country, it enjoys considerable popularity among tourists. It is rather difficult to list all the advantages of the city, we can only say that there is something to see here. Interesting fact: archaeologists claim that people lived on the territory of the city in 6000 BC! The whole city is under the protection of UNESCO. Of the sights, it is worth highlighting the Krumlov Castle, the Town Hall, the Cloak Bridge and the Wax Museum.
Pilsen
The city is home to the well-known Plzeský Prazdroj brewery. Pilsen is an ancient city with a unique history and many attractions. Of the interesting places in the city, it is worth highlighting the royal castle of Radine, the Gothic monastery, the town hall (the largest town hall in Europe), the zoo and the Dinopark.
This concludes our small overview of interesting and beautiful cities in the Czech Republic. Of course, these are not all cities that can and should be visited in the Czech Republic. For example, the list of the most beautiful cities also includes Ostrava, Karlovy Vary, Telč, etc.
