- Neusiedler See is the fourth largest lake in the center of Europe. UNESCO included it and its surroundings in its honorary list of world heritage, and a biosphere reserve is located on the shores of the lake. The mirror area is over 300 square meters. km, although its average depth does not exceed a meter. The main wealth of Neusiedler See is its bird colony. It is home to the great egret, wild geese, and snipes stop to rest during their flights. - Utter See is a lake for fans of scuba diving. Diving enthusiasts enjoy the many species of fish underwater, while those who prefer firm ground sunbathe at local resorts. The purity of the water in the lake is considered so perfect that you can drink from it without fear of health.
- Lake Werther See is considered the warmest lake in the area, and therefore it was chosen for a beach holiday by families with children. The water temperature at the height of summer is stable at around +27 degrees, and the variety of hotels allows people of different incomes to choose the local beaches. It is customary to sunbathe on Werther See on green lawns or specially equipped wooden platforms.
- Lake Wolfgang See is loved by those who prefer outdoor activities and boat trips. A steamer, ideally “made up” to resemble an old one, is sailing along the water area of the lake, and one of the best fish restaurants in the country operates on its berth, the menu of which includes national and European dishes.
