International airport in Yakutsk - the main airport of the capital of the Sakha Republic is located 7 kilometers from the city center. Its unofficial name is Tuymaada, given to the air harbor after the valley in the vicinity of which it is located. History
The birthday of the Yakut aviation is October 8, 1925, this is the day when the first flight from the pier "Dyrkalakh" to the "Green meadow" was made by pilot P. M. Fadeev.
