The tracks in the Gauja valley are distinguished by particularly steep slopes. For example, agarkalns resort has several slopes to its credit, the most difficult of which is Grindo mountain, four hundred meters high. For snowboarding, this Latvian ski resort has a funpark with jumps and a boardercross track. Bailey Base in Valmiera is a wonderful place for skiers and fans of freeriding on the board. Here you can stay overnight with great comfort - the hotel invites you to take a steam bath and taste the best local cuisine.

The Swedish Hat Resort offers cozy lodging houses and well-equipped tracks. You can dine in local cafes, and get to the start point using modern lifts. Only 120 kilometers from Riga and athletes find themselves in the town of Sabile, where all conditions have been created for spending a winter vacation in a "Swedish hat". For those who have not yet mastered skiing, the resort has the opportunity to go sledging or take exciting walks in the picturesque surroundings.
