Description of the attraction
Livadaki is a small white beach in a bay in the north of Angali, famous for the unique underwater life along its shores. It is located in a bay, which is well protected from the winds, the area around is deserted. Usually there are only a few vacationers, the number of which increases only when the excursion boat does. Since the beach is quite secluded, be prepared for nudists to sunbathe on it.
As with most beaches on Folegandros Island, there are no facilities on the spit, so provide yourself with water and shade. Don't forget to take your diving equipment and cameras with you when coming here. You will enjoy the view of the cliffs that look like marble, the silence and the excellent sea with a rich underwater world.
The easiest access to the beach is by boat from Angali or by car from Ano Meria, but you have to walk some part of the way. The path between the rocks, abundantly overgrown with bushes, goes down, directly to the Livadaki Bay. On the way, you will see the Aspropunta lighthouse (one of the largest in the Aegean Sea), and after a few minutes the path will arrive at a wonderful little beach with sand and white pebbles.
