In 1917, this house housed the first legal district committee of the Bolshevik Party "Presnensky" and the Military Revolutionary Committee of the Soviet of Soldiers 'and Workers' Deputies. The first exposition of the museum was dedicated to the 1917 revolution. After a while, the main theme of the museum exposition was the theme of the December uprising in Presnya in 1905. In the halls of the museum, exhibitions devoted to the history of the Trekhgornaya Manufactory and the history of Presnya are held. There is also an exposition dedicated to the events of August 1991.
