Description of the attraction

Aryinonda is a small picturesque town and beach of the same name on the northwestern coast of the Greek island of Kalymnos. The settlement is located about 16-17 km north-west of the administrative center of the island - the city of Potia, on the coast of an incredibly beautiful, crystal-clear natural bay surrounded by rocky mountains.

Aryinonda is a traditional Greek settlement with its own unique flavor and captivating atmosphere of cordiality and hospitality of the locals. This is an ideal place for a relaxing family vacation, as well as for those who want to relax in silence, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.

The excellent sand and pebble beach of Aryinonda is considered to be one of the best beaches on the island of Kalymnos. It is well organized and you can rent sun loungers and sun umbrellas if needed. You can also hide from the scorching sun in the shade of trees growing along the beach. Directly next to the beach and in the village itself there is a small selection of accommodation, as well as cozy restaurants and cafes. It should be borne in mind that the choice of accommodation in Aryinonda is relatively small, so you should take care of booking places in advance.

Since the island is small enough, you can diversify your vacation by visiting the sights of Kalymnos, including the museums and temples of Potia, the medieval citadel of Chora and much more. In the very same Aryinonda interesting is the Church of Panagia Aryinonda (the temple is also known as the Church of Panagia Galatiani) and the restored old olive press (one of the oldest on the island).

You can get here by bus from the city of Potia.
