Description of the attraction
The Orchid Garden is located in a forested area, near the coastal area of Sanur, which is located in the southeastern part of the island of Bali. The garden was founded in 1999 and its visit will interest everyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet, as well as orchid lovers.
At the entrance, visitors are greeted by guides and begin a tour of the garden. Guests can see the tree fern, flowering dendrobium, a perennial plant of the orchid family. About a hundred species of orchids grow on the territory of the garden: black orchid, burgundy orchid, spider orchid, as well as many other tropical plants. It is advisable to visit the garden during flowering - April-May.
On the territory of the garden, coffee lovers can buy the famous Luwak coffee, as the Orchid Garden in Bali is the only supplier of this brand of coffee. This type of coffee is known for its specific processing method.
Here you can buy your favorite orchids - there is no ban on the export of this flower on the island, and also try orchid honey. The gift shop sells scented candles, hand-painted orchid T-shirts, perfume made from natural orchid oil, and orchid jewelry coated with enamel and gold.
In addition, visitors can see a wedding ceremony on the territory of the garden, which is a fairly frequent event here.
