Description of the attraction
Isca Marina is a small village located in the municipality of Isca sullo Ionico in the province of Catanzaro and lying on the eastern coast of the Italian region of Calabria. Located five minutes from the seaside resort of Soverato, where most of the tourist infrastructure is located, Isca Marina is famous among tourists for its pristine sandy beaches and crystal waters of Squillace Bay. There is an indoor pool with 6, 25 meters long lanes and a diving school, and in the neighboring village of Badolato, a yacht club with a modern dock has recently been opened.
During the day, most of the tourists are concentrated on the beaches of Isca Marina, where you can not only sunbathe and swim, but also do various sports. In the evening, many move to coastal discos, such as Roccella, and bars. In addition, from Iska Marina you can go to the town of Locri to get acquainted with the richest heritage of ancient Greece. Nature lovers will love the trips to the Sila and Aspromonte National Parks, which boast fantastic landscapes. By the way, just behind the sand dunes of Isca Marina there is a small nature reserve of local importance, also accessible for organized groups of tourists.
