Description of the attraction
The Bicycle Museum is located on Vilnius Street. The museum tells the story of the invention of the bicycle and the development of this vehicle. The most valuable exhibits in the museum are the handcrafted grandfather's bicycle, the Imperial Trumpf bicycle, produced in 1812, German and Irish bicycles produced between WWI and WWII. over a hundred years ago.
In the museum you can not only get acquainted with the exposition, but also ride a velomobile. It is believed that the bicycle museum was founded in 1980 at the Šiauliai factory for the production of bicycles and Vairas engines. At the moment, the museum is located on the boulevard in the very center of the city.
