Crimea is not only a tourist destination, but also a real paradise for stalkers. After the collapse of the USSR, a lot of construction projects remained in the Crimea, which is why many abandoned buildings, which are shrouded in secrets and mysticism, have survived. Stalkers from all over Russia are eager to get to Crimea for the thrill of exploring old sites.
Crimean nuclear power plant
The Crimean nuclear power plant is a place with a very tragic history, ideal for stalkers. In November 1980, the USSR Ministry of Energy and Electrification approved the project of the Crimean NPP. The station was supposed to consist of two power units with an electrical capacity of 1000 MW each. In 1981, the construction of the first block began. The entire power plant was planned to be completed in 1989.
The construction proceeded successfully without deviations from the set schedule, nothing foreshadowed trouble. But on April 26, 1986, the largest accident in the entire history of Soviet nuclear power occurred - an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Less than a month after the disaster, articles began to appear in the press about the dangers of nuclear power and about the ban on the construction of the Crimean nuclear power plant.
After long discussions, it was decided to abandon the construction, but the station itself is still standing, recalling the tragic events of the past.
Abandoned pioneer camp
A mysterious and beautiful place in its own way. The former pioneer camp "Helicopter" is located in the village of Mysovoye, Cape Kazantip. The vegetation absorbed the structure not only from the outside, but also from the inside. Very little is known about the camp, but we can definitely say that it did not last long. In 1980, the last buildings of the camp were built, but in the 90s it was already abandoned.
Underground Sevastopol
Sevastopol itself can be called a huge fortress, but what lurks under the ground is surprising. Shelters, bunkers, dilapidated adits and sewers - all this can be seen in the underground Sevastopol.
The site is large and can take months to fully explore. The unusual object shrouds in its secrets and plunges into the past.
Reserve command post of the Black Sea Fleet
It is an interesting object for stalkers with its own atmosphere. Located in the slope of the Mishen mountain near Balaklava. Its construction lasted 15 years, starting in 1977.
Initially, it was planned to use the bunker for evacuation in case of the Cold War, but due to the collapse of the USSR in 1992, the almost completed facility was abandoned. At the moment, the bunker is almost completely plundered by the plunderers of metal, but this does not make it less interesting.
The bunker has four floors, two of which are flooded. Mile-long mines, huge metal hatches, tunnels going 200 meters down, radiation signs, mysterious passages with no end in sight - all this will not leave any stalker indifferent.
Sanatorium of Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant
It is considered one of the largest tourist unfinished projects in Crimea. Located near the village of Morskoye on the Black Sea coast. It is currently owned by a Turkish resort company, which never proceeded to build it.
Unfortunately, inside the sanatorium there is nothing but bare walls, but outside it surprises with its unique and unusual architecture. Although the sanatorium is guarded by a duty officer, stalkers can easily get inside.
Emine-Bair-Khosa cave
The cave is considered one of the most beautiful places in Crimea. In addition, the entrance to it is completely free and anyone can get there. Located in the southeastern part of Crimea, in the depths of the Chatyr-Dag mountain in its northern vicinity.
This cave is interesting both in terms of history and culture. The tools of ancient people were found in it, as well as the remains of animals, which at the moment can be seen in the Museum of Simferopol. Unique geological formations and underground passages, 2 kilometers long, are breathtaking, but truly magnificent views are in the last halls, which can only be reached by experienced diggers.
Bath in the village named after Voykov
A small two-storey building dating back to the late 19th century. Previously, the building was used as a city bath, but due to the danger of the building collapsing and its emergency condition, the city authorities decided to close the facility. Since then, it has been a place of active visits by stalkers.
Some elements of the former decor remain inside, and most of the rooms are littered with debris. There is no security around the building.
