In most of Hungary, the Middle Danube Plain stretches, in the east low-lying relief prevails, and in the north-west there is the Kishalfeld lowland, in the western part of which there is the Alpokalya Upland (height - 500-800 m). As for the north of Hungary, it is occupied by the Western Carpathians, and the highest Hungarian point is the 1,014-meter Kekes mountain.
Hungary consists of Budapest and 19 counties (Heves, Chongrad, Tolna, Veszprem, Somogy, Nograd, Hajdu-Bihar, Fejer and others).
How to get to Hungary?
The flight on the Moscow - Budapest flight will last 2.5 hours (a stop in Istanbul will extend the trip up to 14 hours, in Bucharest - up to 13.5 hours, in Finland - up to 9.5 hours, in the Czech capital - up to 8 hours), flight Moscow - Shermellek - 3 hours, and the flight Moscow - Debrecen - at least 7 hours (passengers will have a stopover in Malmo and Stockholm).
You can fly from St. Petersburg to Budapest by Aeroflot aircraft (a flight through Moscow will take 6-9 hours) or Belavia (a stop in the Belarusian capital will extend the trip up to 4.5 hours).
The journey by rail (departure point - Belorussky railway station in Moscow) will last 1 day 5 hours, and those who use the services of the Ecolines bus will spend 52 hours on the road.
