28 HK Street
Until recently, they sold mainly dried fish on Hongkong Street. Today, here you can find the best establishments in the city and even two Michelin-starred restaurants. 28 HK Street is one of the main attraction points in the area. Opened five years ago, the bar is now considered to be one of the best not only in Singapore, but also beyond its borders. It has earned its impeccable reputation thanks to the professionalism of the bartenders and the amazing quality of the cocktail ingredients: the ice is chopped by hand, and the mint is used exclusively organic. The original recipes of local drinks are also noteworthy. Take Coppertone, an exotic take on the classic Old Fashioned with a rum-based tropical Pina Colada character. Coconut oil, pineapple syrups and five spices for it are processed in a special sealed centrifuge, which makes them completely transparent. Therefore, by ordering Coppertone, you will not even think about the level of technical skill required to create it.
Three times a year, the 28 HK Street cocktail menu is replenished with 25 new items. Every day, the bar guests will find a relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and tasteful music.
Operation dagger
The commitment to originality of the founders of Operation Dagger - one of the 50 best bars in the world - is evident from the very doorstep. The interior of the establishment resembles a pharmacy in a bomb shelter, illuminated by a composition of many bulbs, inspired by the work of photographer Jeff Wall, and each bottle is labeled with a secret pictogram. Unusual, isn't it?
Operation Dagger's surprises don't end there, however. One of the options on the bar's menu suggests that the bartender himself chooses which cocktail to prepare for you. And first you will be offered something fresh, then - a drink with a stronger taste, and to top it off - a kind of dessert. In general, everything is like in a good restaurant! Well, if you're lucky, you can appreciate one of the main hits of the bar - the magnificent Fallen Fruit. The delicacy of natural fruit and berry wines, vanilla and the indispensable curry leaf in Indian cuisine is set off by citric and tartaric acids. The cocktail is served in a pear-shaped ceramic glass with a vanilla pod instead of a tube.
Bitters & love
At the head of Bitters & Love is Naz Arjuna, winner of numerous international awards and one of the best mixology masters in Asia. Smoke & Mirrors
Smoke & Mirrors is a trendy bar located in the heart of the city, on the rooftop of one of the country's main cultural centers - the National Gallery of Singapore. From here, breathtaking views of the Padang and Marina Bay areas are well worth a visit. The interior of the establishment is decorated with an unusual shape of a mirrored bar counter, which at the same time separates the internal and external spaces of the bar and forms a single architectural solution of the room.
In addition to the spectacular setting, Smoke & Mirrors offers guests an excellent cocktail list, drawn up by the head bartender Jugnes Susela.
