Budva or Ulcinj - where are the more beaches?
In terms of the number of beach areas, Budva has the first place, in the city and its environs there are more than 10 kilometers of coastal areas intended for recreation, and there are sandy, pebble, and rocky areas. The most famous Slavic beach, which received its name in the 1930s and was famous in those distant times for its ideal cleanliness. And today the Blue Flag, raised by UNESCO specialists, flies over many of the resort's beaches. Outside the city limits, there is one of the most beautiful beaches - Jaz; its peculiarity is the Drenovstitsa river, which divides the territory into two parts.
There is not a single factory in the Ulcinj region, therefore, from an environmental point of view, this is an ideal place for recreation. The coastline is more than 30 kilometers long; the most famous coastal areas are named Big and Small beaches. Other places for sunbathing can be found in the mountainous part of the resort, there are very beautiful landscapes - picturesque bays, cozy bays, rocks.

A walk around the city will reveal its other secrets, for example, why during the tour you can get acquainted with structures and monuments that belong to different religions, nationalities and cultures. The city is located in the border zone, over the centuries it has repeatedly witnessed military events, passed from one ruler to another. Most of the buildings were built in a manner typical for Muslim countries, this is also understandable, since Ulcinj is located on the border with Albania.
Of the architectural attractions, the Historical Museum, originally built as a church, later became a mosque, and then a repository of treasures of national history and culture, attracts. Other objects are also attractive for tourists: Balsic Palace; the famous Eastern Bazaar on the entire coast.
The old town of Budva is not only bars and restaurants, but also many historical sights. Firstly, a massive fortress wall runs along the perimeter, and secondly, in the heart of the city you can find many beautiful churches built during the Middle Ages, there is even a square of Churches. Another tourist attraction of the resort is the Archaeological Museum, which surprises with its collections and individual rarities. It is worth visiting the Poets Square, where creators and their fans gather every night in the summer. Among the other entertainments at this resort are sports sports, including extreme ones.
