In August 1994, the Ingush Republic received its own state symbols, along with the anthem and flag, the emblem of Ingushetia was also approved. In addition to being accepted at the local level, he passed the approval procedure in the Heraldic Council and takes an honorable place in the Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation.
When developing a sketch of the main official sign, the authors relied on European heraldic traditions, taking into account the peculiarities of the mentality and national character.
Symbols of the coat of arms
Any photo of this heraldic symbol demonstrates the sunshine and brightness of colors. In the coat of arms palette, the main part is occupied by shades of precious metals, gold and silver, as well as popular in world heraldry - scarlet, azure, emerald.
Each of the colors used in the coat of arms of the republic has its own role and symbolic meaning. The blue color symbolically reflects the peaceful sky over Ingushetia, as well as the connection with space, heavenly forces. Green color is associated with the natural resources of the republic, land fertility. In addition, green is the traditional color of the Muslim religion, the most widespread in Ingushetia.
Scarlet is associated with courage, heroism, readiness to defend the homeland, it is a symbol of the struggle for the survival of the Ingush people. The silver color is most often shown as white, and in relation to the gold color, a refinement is made - golden yellow.
Description of the coat of arms of Ingushetia
The heraldic symbol of the Ingush Republic is based on a round shield, the following important elements are inscribed in it:
- eagle, symbolizing nobility, wisdom, loyalty;
- The Caucasus Mountains as the main natural wealth;
- the fighting tower of the Ingush, a kind of interpretation of the links between the past and the future;
- solar disk (half) with seven descending rays;
- solar sign, symbol of infinity, movement of the Earth and the Sun;
- inscription - the name of the republic in two languages.
A proud bird of prey is depicted in flight, with its wings spread wide. She is like the keeper of this land and people, protects from external enemies. The sun is a symbol of life, prosperity, wealth. The cosmic body is depicted at its zenith, with wide rays illuminating the mountains. The Caucasus Mountains are a stylized image of the two most famous mountain peaks located in Ingushetia - Kazbek and Table Mountain.
