Waterfalls of Edessa
The city where the waterfalls are located is nicknamed the “water city” - it has 2 large and several smaller waterfalls. Milona waterfall
The location of this waterfall (the height of the fall of its jets is 40 m) is the Milona gorge, where there are lakes where you can swim, and several more waterfalls. Since the Milona stream partially dries up in summer, while retaining its natural charm, the best time to visit the Milona waterfall is considered to be the spring months and the end of November - early December.
There are two paths leading to the waterfall: the first path is a special asphalt path with signs (travelers will spend about 20 minutes on the road); the second route is a two-hour journey involving crossing rivers and small hills
Nydri waterfalls
If tourists plan to visit them in the middle of summer, they will see small streams, but in any case, they will be able to admire the beautiful scenery and relax surrounded by cool spray. A walking trail 800 m long will lead guests to the Nidri waterfalls, but when setting off, you should not neglect the advice of experienced travelers - for a walk to these places you should definitely take a sufficient amount of water with you and put on comfortable shoes (they will have a rocky climb to their destination). As for provisions, there is no need to stock up on it for future use - travelers will meet a tavern on the way, where they will be offered to relax and have a snack.
