Prague is one of the top tourist destinations on the map for any European traveler. The capital of the Czech Republic is interesting, firstly, in terms of architecture, there are many beautiful buildings preserved here. Secondly, they are attracted by numerous historical monuments and sights of world importance. Thirdly, the famous Czech beer and rich cuisine also play a big role in increasing the flow of tourists.
Historical Center
Any tourist map of Prague demonstrates how many amazing places there are in this ancient city worth visiting. But all the roads of any visitor to the Czech capital start from the historical center and its attractions.
The list of monuments of Czech culture and history is almost endless, the top five leaders include:

At first, tourists even get lost, so many want to be captured in a photo in the Czech capital. City of museums
Tourists who prefer to get to know the capital through museums and their collections should definitely make a list, otherwise the journey may take months. Prague has a great variety of cultural institutions of various profiles, museums, galleries and exhibition halls. The richest, most interesting collections are presented in the following places:
- National Museum;
- Museum of Czech Music (there is a separate Mozart Museum);
- People's Technical Museum.
No less interesting for visitors are the Toy Museum (for a young audience), the Museum of Torture Tools (for older tourists). Also, the capital of the Czech Republic is proud of its theaters - in addition to the National Theater, there is a puppet theater or a "black light" theater.
Architectural monuments of Prague
They are found almost at every step in the historical center, one of which is Charles Bridge. A walk along it can take more than one hour if a knowledgeable guide in love with the city comes across. Behind each of the monuments located on the bridge, there are amazing legends and ancient stories.
The Czech names of some of these places of interest can bring a smile to foreign tourists, for example, the Křížík Fountains or the Loreta Treasury, which does not at all detract from their historical and cultural significance. On the contrary, they are the first on the list of places to visit.
