Egypt has long become a "cozy backyard" for many Russians, where you can not only have a good rest, but also have great fun. So what is the entertainment in Egypt.
Giza Zoo
It is in Giza that one of the oldest zoos on the planet is located. The date of foundation is 1890. In addition, it is also the largest Egyptian zoo. Here you can see many animals, whose habitat is exclusively the desert. Many of them are on the verge of extinction, but in captivity they feel great and even actively reproduce. Lions, elephants, monkeys live here, there is a serpentarium and even a small museum. For a fee, you can feed the animals.
The well-groomed area occupies as much as 34 hectares and was once considered a fairly spacious place. But today the zoo is surrounded by a dense ring of new buildings. Here you can walk barefoot on the soft grass of the lawns and even have a picnic on the grass.
Ras Mohammed Nature Reserve
Ras Mohammed is a very picturesque place. Here you can appreciate the beauty of tropical fish, admire the coral islands and thickets of mango trees. And this is just a small part of what you can see when visiting the reserve.
On the territory of Ras Mohamed there is a miniature bay, which the locals call Magic. The salt concentration in the water is very similar to the salt level of the Dead Sea and is also considered medicinal. But the bay was nicknamed "magical" for another reason. The local population is sure that if you plunge into the local waters with your head, then all desires will certainly come true.
At the entrance, all guests are given special maps-schemes so that a person does not get lost in such a huge territory. You can go here as part of a general excursion, or you can get there on your own. The reserve is located 20 kilometers from Sharm el-Sheikh.
Blue hole
Near the village of Dahab, you will find the most interesting dive site of the Red Sea - a huge coral funnel with a diameter of 50 meters. The depth of the sea here reaches more than 100 meters, and the sun's rays, reflecting from the walls of the funnel, paint the water in a bright blue color.
Show "Thousand and One Nights"
Although a ticket to the show is far from cheap ($ 35), it fully justifies its cost. Many tourists believe that nothing more interesting than belly dancing will be presented here. And they are deeply mistaken. First of all, the hotel itself is interesting. Entering the courtyard, you move to a real fabulous Baghdad - turrets, patterned walls, marble. One gets the impression that a small donkey loaded with goods is about to appear from around the nearest corner.
The performance is simply striking in its scope. For three hours, you can see the entire ancient Egyptian history, as well as tales of Sinbad's travels and Scheherazade nights.
