There is a good bus service from the airport to the nearest cities. Buses depart regularly from the terminal building to take passengers to the city's central station. From there you can go to your main destination. The travel time will be about 40 minutes, and the ticket will cost about 2 euros.
Alternatively, you can offer a taxi that is ready to deliver a passenger to any point in the city. The cost of the trip depends on the destination; a trip to the most remote places of the island will cost about 70 euros. Rhodes city center can be reached for 20 euros.
