Al Aqa Beach
The magnificent resort area of the Fujairah emirate is located between the sea and the Hajar mountains. There are several hotels on the local beach of Al Aqa, which are "assigned" to private areas of sand. There are several outdoor pools here.
As for the coast, here, in the coral reefs, there are such exotic species of fish that it attracts divers and snorkelers from all over the world. The basics of diving are taught here, and more advanced scuba divers can independently study the wreckage of the ship.
Diving in the UAE
If you are fond of big fishing, you can go directly to the open sea. This is not a quiet fishing with a line on the banks of a river or lake, but an exciting trip on a marine boat hired in Fujairah for half a day or even a full day. Fishermen have a unique opportunity to hook a huge fish and drag it on a special crane behind the vessel. Here they catch huge sun fish, tuna, barracuda, and if you are lucky, even a small shark.
Sandy Beach
A little further north, just a few kilometers from Al Aqa, is Sandy Beach. Most of this coast is occupied by the hotel of the same name, where many diving enthusiasts flock, since the bottom world here is also rich and diverse. Moreover, here, on the territory of the beach itself, there is a diving center, where diving courses are held for both beginners and already experienced divers.
Dibba Al Fujairah Beach
If you drive a little further north from Sandy Beach, you can find another fashionable beach in the city of Dibba. It is the second largest and at the same time the northernmost city in the emirate of Fujairah.
The local beach is surrounded by mountains, and therefore has a very picturesque view, which is given a special "zest" by the unusually clean, uncontaminated sea.
Korfakan beach
But in 25 km from the center of Fujairah there is the not so popular Korfakan beach. And even if there are not so many tourists resting there, but it is here that you can find peace and reconnect with the surrounding nature.
