Istanbul is a big metropolis and a sea city at the same time. It is divided into two parts by the Bosphorus Strait. From the south, Istanbul is washed by the Sea of Marmara, and from the north - by the Black Sea. There are 83 beaches in the city.

Istanbul is a huge city, so the beaches are always full of people, especially on weekends. I must say that the sea in the vicinity of Istanbul is not the cleanest due to the fact that a huge number of ships ply the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. There are several popular beach destinations within the city.

The best sandy beaches in Istanbul are located on the Princes' Islands. It is a group of small islets located in the eastern part of the Sea of Marmara, near Istanbul. Previously, they were the favorite resting place of the Byzantine princes. You can get to the islands directly from the Kabatas seaport, ferries leave here every hour, and the fare is three lira. It will take more than an hour to get to the islands; while sailing, you can feed annoying seagulls and enjoy unforgettable sea views.

The archipelago includes many islands. Each of them has many beaches that are equipped with everything you need to relax and have a unique atmosphere of fabulousness. Having visited Istanbul, one simply cannot fail to visit the Princes' Islands.
