Description of the attraction

The Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Gervyaty is one of the most beautiful and tallest churches in Belarus. Gervyatsky Trinity Church was built at the expense of Prince Olshevsky in 1899-1903. Architect - Alypalovsky. The majestic brick church was built on the site of the wooden Trinity Church in 1526.

Gervyatsky church is called a Belarusian miracle. It appears on the horizon like a fairytale castle, unknown how it has fallen into a rural landscape. The height of the spire of the church in Gervyaty is 61 meters (according to some sources - 65 meters), which makes the church one of the highest churches in Belarus. It was built in the neo-Gothic style at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, when, as now, interest in its historical cultural traditions increased.

The Gervyat temple survived two world wars, a revolution, changed citizenship of six states, but never once did not a single barbarian hand rise to its unique bewitching beauty.

Nowadays, Mass is held in the church, but it is also one of the most beautiful organ halls. Thanks to its design, the Gervyat Church of the Holy Trinity has a unique acoustics; it contains an old organ specially made for this majestic church.

The temple area is not just landscaped - it is a miniature park of the French regular style. Geometrically correct paths are framed by neatly trimmed bushes, flowers bloom everywhere, and carved statues of Catholic saints rise on emerald lawns. To ensure that nothing violates this strict harmony, the territory is fenced with an openwork forged lattice.
