Description of the attraction

Marilleva is another popular resort in the picturesque Italian valley of Val di Sole, lying in its very center. The town is located on two levels: the first, stretching at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level, is connected by lifts to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio, and the second lies at the base of the valley next to Mezzana. The Marilleva levels are interconnected by means of a 12-seat cabin.

In winter, Marilleva turns into a real pilgrimage destination for ski lovers. The total length of local trails is about 140 km, served by comfortable lifts. The resort itself, together with the neighboring towns of Folgarida, Peyo and Passo Tonale, is part of the Skirama Dolomiti ski area. The pistes here are mostly "blue" and "red", suitable for beginners and confident skiers. There are also a couple of difficult "black" slopes chosen by professionals, including the famous "Marilleva Nera", which is about 2 km long and is famous for its steep descents.

In Marilleve itself there is an illuminated flat cross-country ski trail Biancavene, a modern snow park, a sports center, children's playgrounds and a well-developed tourist infrastructure - hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. Tourists are also attracted by the proximity to two national parks - "Stelvio" and "Adamello-Brenta" with their untouched wildlife and mesmerizing landscapes. You can enter the protected areas as part of excursion groups.
