Description of the attraction
The Maze is located 19 km from Perth. The main attraction of the square, opened in 1981, is a unique labyrinth with an area of 2.5 km². In Australia, this square is called the Labyrinth. But in addition to the labyrinth itself, there is also a mini-golf course and a Chess Garden.
The wood-paneled maze, the largest in Perth today, was the first attraction to appear in the park. During a recent restoration, observation towers and a couple of additional exits were added to it. All kinds of logic games are regularly held in the labyrinth, in which not only residents of the city, but also visiting tourists, take part with pleasure. In addition to the main one, two more concentric labyrinths were built in the park right in the middle of a pine grove. Another labyrinth is made of colored rope intertwined between the posts - you need to go through this obstacle in the shortest time.
On the mini-golf course, you can play an exciting game - it is similar to golf, only discs are used instead of balls and do not use clubs. Participants try to hit the target with the disc - the basket. The winner is the one who fills all the baskets for the fewest throws.
In the park, you can also wander among the enclosures with koalas, kangaroos and emu ostriches, have a picnic or sit in a cafe.
