Description of the attraction
In September 2011, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Zavodskoy district of Saratov, a reconstructed park was opened on the Friendship of Peoples Square. A long abandoned and feral green area has been filled with new colors: originally broken flower beds, well-groomed shrubs and trees, fountains and small ponds, all this has become a real gift for the residents of the industrial microdistrict.
The main attraction is the playground, which occupies most of the square. Attractions and mini-water slides, a zoo with ostriches, pony riding, a fountain in which you can swim, bright sculptures of animals in flower beds will allow you to have fun with the whole family.
A landscaped green area will allow people of mature age to enjoy the fresh air and beauty of nature; beautifully laid curbstone, multicolored manicured flower beds, wooden benches, bridges over water bodies and shady trees. A great setting for both romantic dates and an evening stroll. New lighting turns the park at night into a cozy, quiet corner in the very center of the Zavodskoy district.
The European-class public garden is located opposite the administration of the Zavodskoy district and has become a favorite resting place for both the townspeople and guests of Saratov.
