Description of the attraction
Walking along the Manila Waterfront is one of the best ways to enjoy the sunset over Manila Bay. It is here that in the evenings hundreds, if not thousands of families gather, who want to spend time together, couples in love and guests of the city.
Manila Bay is the main port of the capital of the Philippines, about 19 km wide. Roxas Boulevard stretches along its city coast, which limits the embankment. The boulevard is home to many of Manila's attractions - the ancient Malate Church and the recently renovated Raji Suleiman Park, the US Embassy and the posh Manila Yacht Club.
At night, there are open-air cafes where you can enjoy local cuisine and admire not only the sunset, but also the sunrise. Music bands often play in restaurants, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. In numerous booths you can get a henna tattoo as a souvenir - this is very popular among young people.
On the other side of the Bay of Manila are mountain peaks of volcanic origin, covered with tropical vegetation. Corredigor Island, a popular holiday destination among Manila residents, is 48 km away.
