Description of the attraction
The amusement park "Gulliver's Country" (Parco di divertimento Gulliverlandia), located in the resort town of Lignano Sabbiadoro on the Adriatic coast of Italy, is one of the most popular local theme parks. It has an area of 40 thousand square meters. you can find a real aquarium with an underwater tunnel and make an amazing journey through time - travel back to the Middle Ages with its knightly tournaments or to prehistoric times with huge dinosaurs. And next to the "Gulliver's Country" there is a water park "Aquasplash".
The park was opened in 2000, and since then has invariably attracted thousands of visitors - both children and adults. In the Gulliver's Country Aquarium, during a leisurely walk through the underwater tunnel, you can admire amazing marine life - predatory sharks and strange moray eels. In the same area there are artificial reservoirs with small and nimble tropical fish.
The main attraction of the Vulcano Rapids area is the prehistoric dinosaurs. It is here, "having collapsed" from a dizzying height down from the waterfall, you can get a charge of vivacity and adrenaline.
There are several attractions in the Middle Ages zone, the most popular of which are the reenactments of knightly tournaments. Here, a small steam locomotive invites visitors to travel to the ruins of the mysterious Mayan civilization or to see some of the world's most interesting sights in miniature.
From the recently opened attractions of "Gulliver's Country", it is worth highlighting the 60-meter-high Observation Tower, which offers stunning views of Lignano and its surroundings. A ride on the giant Ferris Wheel will be no less exciting.
