Description of the attraction

Yekaterinoslavsky (European) Boulevard is another attraction of the glorious city of Dnepropetrovsk (formerly Yekaterinoslav). The city, which was built and named after the great Empress Catherine II, attracts thousands of tourists every year and there is something to see. So, what is the longest bridge in Ukraine, or a walk along the longest embankment in Europe? However, Ekaterinoslavsky (European) Boulevard is no less attractive for both tourists and residents of the city.

This pedestrian zone is located in the heart of the city, where you can relax in the shade of trees on a hot afternoon or enjoy the singing of birds at sunset. It is not for nothing that the boulevard is called Novy Arbat. Here you can admire and buy paintings by talented artists from all over Ukraine.

It should be noted that jokes can be made not only in Odessa, but also in Dnepropetrovsk. So at the entrance to the boulevard, you can see huge stone balls, which are popularly nicknamed "Dinosaur eggs". The sculpture called "The Unknown Oligarch", the unofficial name of which is "The Man Who Smokes", looks no less original.

Here you can walk along the old cobblestones, along which Count Potemkin himself once traveled, admire the magnificent horizontal fountains that create a unique microclimate. Or you can just sit on a round bench from which trees grow, thus giving shade. Children will love to feed the pigeons, which have become almost tame because of the constant neighborhood with people. Well, lovers prefer leisurely walks along the romantic corners of the boulevard.
