Description of the attraction

Manila Butterfly House was created to popularize knowledge about these amazing creations of nature. Butterflies are unique primarily in their life cycle - they develop from the larval stage through the pupal phase to the adult, which can be of incredible colors and sizes. Viewing the surprisingly varied colors of delicate butterfly wings has become a popular hobby around the world. Butterflies themselves live almost everywhere, except for the coldest and driest regions of the planet. Manila Butterfly House provides a unique opportunity to admire the beautiful creatures of nature, listen to the legends associated with them and learn a lot about their way of life and living conditions.

The family of butterflies consists of two superfamilies - Fathead (about 3500 species) and Butterflies (more than 13700 species). Visitors to the Manila Butterfly House can get to know the representatives of both superfamilies, wander among this “winged” variety, and even try to take a closer look at the incredible patterns of insects when they sit in the palm of their hand. Here are collected butterflies of different types, colors and coloring. And besides them, grasshoppers, stick insects and praying mantises live here. The Manila Butterfly House, located in a picturesque garden among tall trees, orchids and other flowers, will be a real discovery for all lovers of this miracle of nature.

There is a fruit nursery next to it, where you can buy seeds of fruit trees for planting, as well as ripe fruits. The nursery has dwarf coconut palms, figs, bananas and, of course, specific, but incredibly popular durians. Here you can also see exotic pitahaya with charming flowers and very rare fruits.

In addition, the Manila Butterfly House houses newly built honey bee hives - three species of honey bees live here. Visitors can see with their own eyes the connection that exists in nature between bees, butterflies and fruit trees. Here you can also buy fresh and very sweet honey and bee pollen, which will undoubtedly be a great memory of this visit.
