Description of the attraction

Sala Museum is the first art museum of this kind in the world. It is located in the very heart of ancient Lviv. The museum was created under the authorship of the famous decorator Boris Berger. And here you can admire lard in all possible forms - these are pictures from lard, and candles and sculptures.

In addition, visitors can enjoy this truly national Ukrainian product, because it is offered as a wide variety of dishes. At the same time, it is noteworthy that the dishes are made in the form of various shapes. Some shapes are cut by hand, others are created using special shapes. However, each of them is an original and unique dish.

The idea of creating such a museum-restaurant was visited by the Lviv artist Myroslav Dedyshyn. And together with a group of like-minded people, they not only created an original art museum, but also a restaurant popular both among Lviv residents and guests of the city. In addition, various festivals, exhibitions, concerts, performances and literary readings and many other cultural events are also planned here.

Salo sculptures are served here under original ideas. How do you, for example, sculpture "Lips of Monroe" or "Ears of Van Gogh"? Would you like Chest of Venus more to your liking? Gourmets can try lard-sushi. For true admirers of this delicacy, a dessert is offered - lard in chocolate. And the most famous sculpture is called "David's Rod", and it is a lard in the form of a phallus (25 cm high) stuffed with cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers and dumplings.

All sculptures are exhibited in a special glass refrigerator with semi-dark lighting and ultraviolet illumination; visitors can order a reduced copy of any of them.
