In March, in the squares and streets of Valencia, a colorful celebration takes place - Las Fallas. The holiday is accompanied by colorful fireworks, firecrackers, festivities. Satirical figures made of papier-mâché - fallas are erected everywhere, and on the day of St. Joseph - March 19 - they are solemnly burned. Fallas dolls are very expensive and are made by a special team of puppeteers. It often takes a whole year to make them.
