Description of the attraction
Agriolivadi beach of Patmos island is located about 1.5 km from Skala. The long sandy spit is covered with small pebbles. On the beach there is infrastructure in the form of sun loungers and umbrellas, you can also rent equipment for water sports, there is a bar and a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine (mostly cooked freshly caught seafood is served).
Shallow water along the entire length of the spit and warmer than in other places, the water creates excellent conditions for recreation with small children. In the northern part of the beach there are several picturesque, enclosed small coves with access only by boat or kayak, which are offered for rent here. It is recommended to use this service only in good weather, because there is a very strong current at the end of the bay.
Opposite the Agriolivadi bay is the small island of Agia Thekla (Saint Thekla). The name comes from the church built on it. If you wish, you will have a great opportunity to inspect the ancient building. Also on this rocky island there is an excellent beach; boats leave for it from Agriolivadi.
