Hello Friend! We have already opened the vacation season, it's time to make sure that the dust of the roads that you and I will go through does not dampen the radiance of our beauty. Therefore, today we will go to the bathhouse! It doesn't matter what the Aboriginal people call it: spa, hammam, sauna, or even a Japanese vat with boiling water - this does not change the essence. The bathhouse is the bathhouse. But do not forget about little feminine tricks that help preserve the most valuable thing - the shine of our beloved, incomparable, beautiful hair.

Let's start with the main thing. Wherever we travel, wherever we plunge: in the respectable, but cold waters of Lake Como or Garda, the steamy Andaman Sea or the bathhouse next to the steam room - the most important thing for us is hair. Yes, they are. It doesn't matter that the ears or nose are peeled off - this is an inevitable tribute to the hardships of travel, but lifelessly hanging rat tails … This is not our way!

I will say right away: if on a trip you manage to use only high-class SPA elephants like Metropole by Givenchy, Terme Di Saturnia Spa, Oriental, Shiseido Spa, Sun Aqua Spa, Amnis Spa, Mandara Spa, Chavana Spa with prescribed standards of care and do not risk trying the local exotic, then, most likely, everything that I will share is not really what you need. Body and hair care professionals know all the spa rituals very well. But, I think, even you sometimes find yourself in places where you just want to breathe: “Where are you, masters?”.

Even Frenchwoman Vivian Marton, one of the founders of Switzerland's top spa brand Qiriness, admits that the “spa moment” often has to be recreated in her bathroom. To do this, it is enough to have at hand the necessary tools that would combine relaxing and caring properties.

But back to our flamingos. All the pleasures that we value so much: SPA, hammam, sauna, steam bath, exotic massages - can present us with many unpleasant surprises. Hair does not always like the high temperature and the presence of exotic, but not always useful oils for them, which massage therapists love to use at resorts. Therefore, we will not go to the kingdom of bodily bliss empty-handed. What do you and I need? Let's, as military strategists say, let's define the enemy and see how his strength can be used to our advantage.

So, are we going to have a high temperature, while the air is very humid or very dry? Of course, the hair can be hidden under a towel and thereby minimize external influences, but these are ideal conditions for applying a large number of all kinds of hair masks: heated, steamed skin gratefully takes care, perfectly absorbs useful elements, which allows you to intensively and efficiently nourish the roots hair.

The first thing I will draw your attention to is skin health. It is in the bath that you can get rid of old scales. And don't wrinkle your charming nose - everyone has them. Not all, however, get rid of them correctly. Read Dr. Edo Houting if you want, but my advice number 1: in the bath, in the sauna, in the hammam, make a nourishing mask or anti-dandruff mask that suits your hair type. I also advise you to read more about the use of masks in the sauna. Healthy skin - healthy hair!

Do not thank. It's not me that smart - said the founder of one of the world's leading brands SPA Giselle Delorme: "Every woman is unique, and to be beautiful, she must feel good." To rephrase: for your unique hair to stay beautiful, your skin needs to feel good.

The next point is the protection of hair from high temperatures. In the hammam, steam bath and sauna, the temperature is within the range of milk pasteurization - 60-80 degrees. Even Louis Pasteur disinfected products at this temperature so that they were stored longer. But you and I have real hair, we wear it, and do not store it in the mezzanine, which means we need to protect and nourish it! Therefore, be sure to use thermal protective agents. You will choose the brand and composition yourself, I use … it doesn't matter, I will not advertise anyone. But you should have them in your travel bag!

And the finishing touch is shampoos and rinses. Without them, visiting bath and massage places will be a national tragedy. Both for you and for your companion (if he does not run away after that). What to use - the choice is yours, but don't forget about moisturizing sprays and oils plus - personal recommendation - try BB cream.

Perhaps that's all. Don't forget to love and pamper yourself.

Your Eva Paradise.

See you in another beautiful place where you and I love to come so much for a couple of days. Or weeks: -
