Car rental in Switzerland
Car rental in Switzerland is impossible without a credit card, national and international driving license. To rent a car of a higher category, you will need 2 credit cards (the minimum age of an autotourist is 25 years).
Useful information:
- small fines can be paid immediately into the hands of a policeman or within a month after the offense at the bank;
- it is mandatory to turn on the dipped headlights (alternatively, daytime running lights) during daylight hours (violation will entail a fine of 37 euros). It is worth considering that the headlights do not need to be turned off even when driving through well-lit tunnels (for a violation, the driver will be punished with a 56-euro fine).
