At the moment, the Czech capital is the leader in the number of foreign tourists, as it has a developed social infrastructure, knows how to surprise and delight guests. Living in Prague is, on the one hand, a primitive question, the city has a huge number of hotels and inns, apartments and hostels. On the other hand, the question is difficult, because it is easy for a traveler to get lost in such an abundance, and get not quite what he dreamed of. In this material, the conversation will be about how to choose the right housing.

Accommodation in Prague - European service

Many tourists who have already visited this beautiful city say that you can be sure in it - the number of stars on the facade of the hotel corresponds to the true state of affairs, that is, guests are offered a service of the appropriate level. And this applies to all hotels located both in the center and on the outskirts of the Czech capital.

The main city of the country is conditionally divided into several districts, the most popular in terms of tourism are: Prague-1 with its famous districts - Stare Mesto and Hradcany; Prague-2 with a little less known Vysehrad and Nove Mesto. Most of the capital's hotels are concentrated in these two areas, which is very convenient for guests; you do not need to travel kilometers on foot or by public transport to get to the masterpieces of Prague architecture and historical monuments.

On the other hand, choosing a hotel located a little further from popular tourist attractions will save a little on accommodation. If you choose a hotel along the tram line, then there will be no problems, since the work of transport is organized at a high level. At first, a toll system that takes into account travel time can be difficult.

What do the hotels offer?

The city has representatives of well-known world hotel brands, including: Sheraton; Mariott; Hilton. They differ from most national hotels in that they offer rooms for people with disabilities. Hotels with a category from 3 * to 5 * are comfortable, comfortable, extremely clean. Among the minuses, guests note the lack of Wi-Fi, if it is, then most likely paid, as well as the lack of parking.

Many of the Prague hotels are ready to offer accommodation with breakfast included, however, one cannot hope for a hearty and nutritious meal. In many places, it's just coffee, a bun with butter and jam. In some places you can find more nutritious food - pates, sausages, yoghurts, cereals. In 5 * hotels, breakfast can be prepared individually for the guest.

A room in a hotel of the highest category will cost 100–300 EUR for one guest and 150–600 EUR for two. Many hotels of this level offer a sauna, swimming pool, taxi services, but first you need to clarify whether this is included in the price, or for an additional payment. The cost of living in a hotel of a lower category is 80 EUR (and below) for one tourist, 90 EUR - for a couple. A mini-hotel is becoming a popular accommodation option, its main characteristic is coziness, comfort, “like at home”.

Another type of accommodation for travelers in Prague is hostels, which are considered to be the most budget ones, since the cost of an overnight stay is from 15 to 30 EUR. Positive moments - location in the city center, proximity to monuments of Czech history and culture. The negative point is that in the room, in addition to the tourist, another 10-14 people can live.

The result is one - there will be no problems with the accommodation of a foreign guest in Prague, there are many options that can satisfy any guest's whims.
