How to obtain Ukrainian citizenship without red tape
It is believed that the registration of citizenship of the Republic of Ukraine for a person is fraught with large bureaucratic delays. The main document on which a potential candidate should rely is the Law of the Republic of Ukraine "On Citizenship". Article 6 of this Law defines the grounds for obtaining the status of a citizen: birth; origin (from a territorial point of view); obtaining citizenship; recovery; adoption or adoption; obtaining a status in accordance with international treaties.

Among other important conditions, apart from the period of residence in the country: renunciation of the citizenship of the former homeland; availability of funds; knowledge of the Ukrainian language. This point is very important, despite the fact that Russian is also quite common in Ukraine, in order to obtain citizenship, you need to know Ukrainian as the national language of the state.
It is also important to remember that certain categories of persons will be denied a package of documents for registration of Ukrainian citizenship. The list includes persons who have committed a crime, who are under investigation or are serving a sentence. Special moments of obtaining citizenship
Depending on the grounds for obtaining the citizenship of Ukraine and in accordance with the normative legal acts of the country, in each case, its own package of necessary documents is formed. The application is written in the name of the President of Ukraine, but it is submitted to the local department of the migration service, they are in every settlement, have city, district, regional significance. The members of the commission make a decision on granting citizenship, the decree is signed by the President of Ukraine.
