Monument to the Tsar-Liberator: It consists of a sculpture of Alexander II on horseback and a sculptural group depicting his army, and was erected in honor of the Russian emperor who liberated Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.
Snail House: The shape of this colorful structure resembles a clam (snail horns function as a lightning rod and night lights, and vents are “hidden” in its eyelids), and in addition, it is surrounded by small snails that are flower pots.

It is interesting to visit the National Museum "Earth and People". It is a mineralogical museum with video and conference rooms, laboratories, storage facilities and exhibition halls. The museum has 27,000 exhibits (minerals were brought from 109 countries of the world), which are divided into 7 expositions (guests are invited to look at such minerals as malachite, apatite, quartz, brookite and others). In addition, cat and dog exhibitions, photo contests, exhibitions of speleological collections, and chamber music concerts are often held here.
Having found a flea market not far from the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, you should definitely look at it in order to get the opportunity to acquire coins, medals, old weapons, military uniforms, helmets and cartridge cases, musical instruments, old documents and photographs, knitted shawls, tablecloths, towels, icons of various sizes, enamel tablets with various inscriptions.
An interesting place to visit can be the Sofia Zoo, the map of which can be found on the website www.zoosofia.eu: there are about 2000 animals and birds of 280 species - pheasants, vultures, pelicans, deer, bears, antelopes, lynxes, lemurs, camels, ostriches … It should be noted that the aquarium is inhabited by knife fish, clown fish, yellow tan, mystus, pterygoplicht, and in the terrarium - lizards, crocodiles, iguanas, chameleons, colored agamas …
The Kokolandia amusement park (the map is shown on the website www.kokolandia.com; the park is closed from December 1 to the end of February) is a place where it is recommended to go for active people and vacationers with children: there they will find a trampoline, a climbing wall (height - 7 m, and width - 3 m), bouncy castle. In addition, everyone is given the opportunity to play mini-golf and spend time in the rope town (levels from 1 to 5 assume overcoming from 10 to 16 obstacles).
Do you like to admire water streams? Go to the Boyansky waterfall, the waters of which rush down from a 15-meter height. This beautiful waterfall is interesting both in the warm season and in winter (after freezing, the waterfall turns into a giant piece of hanging ice, making it a place of concentration for extreme lovers and rock climbers).
